CHS Alumni Association: Women's Basketball

Greetings community,

The Carver High School Women's Basketball program is grateful for all the support you have provided thus far. It is always inspiring to see your faces and hear your voices in the stands cheering on our young student athletes.

High School sports are a vital part of helping teen students develop strong personal and interpersonal skills. It goes hand in hand with academics and teaches important life skills.

With that being said, we still need your help!

Each season our team members work hard on academics and preparing to take the floor representing Carver High School in athletics. The students play 22 games during the season, a potential for 6 games during the post-season, and 2 tournaments resulting in 6 additional games. Tournaments help get the student's essential experience and exposure.

To prepare for the season we also have a need to help the young ladies participate in basketball camps. The camps are overnight at a college campus. They provided the students the opportunity to improve overall fundamentals and skill mastery.

We need financial support for, but not limited to the following:

• Summer Team Camp for 8-10 students

• Uniforms: Jersey, shorts, shoes, gym bags, warmups, business Attire for professional days including college visits and to represent to school well.

• Team meals on game days so they have energy to play at their best.

• Snacks for travel

If you can help us raise the funds to support these young ladies, we will do the best job we can to help them have an excellent experience and strive for higher learning.
